SUBSET is a collection of artists, from various fields, exploring several mediums.

We want to transform Dublin in to an open air gallery, we have aspirations of transforming the marketing industry but primarily we want to assist in Ireland's recognition as a cultural juggernaut.


designist is an independent, Irish-owned design shop on South Great George's Street, Dublin 2. For over 7 years designist have brought remarkable gifts and bright ideas to the Cultural Quarter of Dublin city, with a mix of international and Irish design products. Their small shop is filled with a highly curated selection of interesting, clever and beautiful looking products. Labelled by Totally Dublin as "part art gallery, part toy shop for adults" or the "shit-I-forgot-your-birthday shop" by Hotpress, designist is always a fun place to visit, and an essential place for your last minute gifts.

Seán O Sullivan is the founder and director of badly made books, a print studio in County Cork with a focus on paper products, risography, book making & storytelling.

badly made books aims to create attractive, communicative and responsible products for a changing world. We appreciate that design is an ever evolving process so aim to work with clients & individuals to continually evolve the most simple and effective solutions.

After graduating from NCAD in 2010 Seán spent time working in Berlin before returning to Ireland with a renewed interest in books, storytelling & the visual arts. badly made books began in 2013 as an illustration portfolio website but has evolved to reflect the varied passions and design experiences that have informed the badly made process.

Naomi Murphy, Co-Director of A Playful City

With her degree in Creative and Cultural Industries and subsequent Masters in Design Practice, Naomi approaches events in a more innovative way - through a creative, collaborative and user-led design lens. Naomi was Head of Operations at national events platform Happenings: producing 60+ events per year. Naomi is also a director of Connect the Dots.

Aaron Copeland, Co-Director of A Playful City

Aaron has worked for thirteen years in arts and community event management and is a founding member of Eek Arts Collective, Upstart, Upon A Tree and A Playful City. Aaron’s work has been recognised and awarded nationally as well as internationally as a founding member of Upstart. He was a core project manager on the internationally award-winning Granby Park. o-Director of A Playful City
