IDI Supports SME Recovery

IDI is joining 26 other Irish Industry bodies ensuring our members and the Design industry in Ireland are represented and emphasised in the Irish Government's SME Recovery proposals.

IDI Supports SME Recovery

In June 2020, the IDI committed support to SME Recovery a platform for developing a national recovery plan for the small business sector, founded by Derek Butler (CEO Grid Finance), Chaired by John Moran (former Secretary General, Department of Finance).

Recognising the crucial role SME’s play in the recovery and resilience of the Irish economy post Covid, SME Recovery is focused on insuring a comprehensive and integration approach that will help a broad population of SME’s is designed and delivered by the Irish Government.

We in the IDI are committed to ensuring our members and that of the wider Design industry in Ireland are represented and emphasized in the SME Recovery proposals being put forth in the Irish Government July stimulus package. To date, IDI is joining 26 other Irish Industry bodies including: RIAI, IPAV, ITOA, Retail Excellence Ireland, Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, Construction Federation to name a few.
