Design WEEK 2006
Click here to download the Design Week brochure pdf
This year Design Week is taking a significant step forward by truly becoming an international design festival. Major input from the Royal Netherlands Embassy has enabled Design Week 06 to include some of the leading names in Dutch design, architecture and advertising in its programme. Also making a presence this year is Richard Seymour, one of Europe’s best known product designers from the UK. The aim of Design Week is to develop a nationally recognised festival celebrating the importance of good design.
This year we have moved beyond the capital city with events taking place outside Dublin for the first time. Numerous lectures, workshops, exhibitions and trails are happening around the country and we hope you enjoy as many events as possible during the week. The week could not take place without the help and assistance of our many organisations, volunteers and of course our design, paper and print sponsors. To all of those our thanks are due. We look forward to seeing you during the course of Design Week 2006.
