COMMERCIAL OBJECTIVE
To allow for: one-to-one real-time chat with volunteers and administrators in a moderated environment, online in public and in private messaging forum, Moderated user-interface for volunteers to interact with website users.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
To enable visitors to the website to easily access Childine’s online services, ask questions and get help with any issues they may be having.
DESIGN THEME
To create a friendly, modern, easy to use site that was appealing to the target audience by being cool and stylish rather than “kiddie” and patronising.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is only children – boys and girls 12-17/18 years old, mainstream school children and also children with learning disabilities.
JURY COMMENTS
The jury were impressed with its layout and clear impact. It’s Google friendly, playful with very simple functionality. The navigation is very good and in tune with its audience, child friendly and intelligent.
