To develop a distinctive brand for South Dublln's Arts Centre that would encourage visitors from the wider community and use of the Centre by the local arts community.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
To create a brand that reinforced the role of arts in the community through the use of overt colours and strong typography.
DESIGN THEME
Accessibility and visibility guided the design solution. The simplified typographic style means the Centre's name is read easily. The bold colour and striking style ensure the building stands out in a busy urban environment.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Art community - to encourage members of the arts community to locate in the building and avail of the rehearsal, performance and meeting spaces. Wider community - to encourage the general public to engage more actively with the arts sector.
