Mind Over Matter- IDI initiative to keep the conversation on Mental Health alive

On 9th of October last, on the eve of World Mental Health day we were delighted to welcome illustrator and author Michelle Rial as Keynote speaker. Followed by a motivating discussion led by Fashion Designer and TV personality Brendan Courtney with international graphic artist Maser and Cognitive Behavioural expert Walthea Patterson.

Paul Hogan FIDI RIP - The IDI wishes to express sincere sympathy to the family of Paul Hogan

Paul was a member of the IDI since its formation, continually bringing to the Institute his unique vision for the development, promotion, awareness and relentless improvement in standards of Irish design, design promotion and professional development. As an active member, Paul was a wise and generous counsel he was always prepared to share his experience and vision for Irish design with successive Presidents. His thorough re-draft of the IDI constitution in 2003 provided a sound foundation for the future development of the Institute. more

Winners of IDI Graduate Awards 2019 Annouced

Congratulations to Alex Defratyka, Interior Architecture Graduate from Cork Institute of Technology, the Grand Prix winner at the IDI Graduate Design Awards 2019 for her project Hanover Quay Community Centre. She was a multiple category winner. more
