CPD Training for Design Professionals- Design Enterprise

The Design Enterprise Skillnet exists to help design-centred business and their teams grow and thrive through learning and development.

IDI has just launched an exciting CPD Schedule via Design Enterprise Skillnet. It is focused on meeting the training and skills needs of designers and design businesses.

Therefore, we are delighted to partner with Skillnet in a completely new designer-centred training initiative. We can offer subsidised taining specifically tailored to the needs of Irish design paractices across the country

This initiative will involve providing relevant, high quality, affordable training for our members in a new and exciting partnership. 

This will benefit all of our IDI members who are in need of business and enterprise focused training and CPD.

The emphasis is on high quality training that is specific to needs, is relevant to designers. This will include professional practice, upskilling and emphasis on growing a design business.

Designs on Growth- Business Growth & Management Development Programme 2017

The Business Growth & Management Development programme is an innovative learning and development response providing the owner/managers of Design Enterprises with best practice business management skills and knowledge to support sustainability and increased revenue in their business.  

This bespoke programme is sector specific and designed to fully support you to develop a winning growth strategy for your business.  You need to be in business in excess of one year.

Education- and Skills Deficits

Through our IDI Education Committee, we will also attempt to guage the skills deficits in our industry at graduate level as experienced by employers - this will give us an insight into how we need to better target CPD and training among recent graduates in areas of management, business and enterprise etc.
