Situated 5km from Limerick City, the University of Limerick is a research-led institution. Its focus is ”to promote and advance learning and knowledge through teaching, research and scholarship in an environment which encourages innovation and upholds the principles of free enquiry and expression”. The School of Architecture (SAUL) offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Students on some courses have an option to study abroad for at least one semester as an accredited part of their studies.
