2022 Highlights

2022 was a busy and successful year for IDI, as we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the organisation. As the year draws to a close we'd like to give you a recap of some of the highlights achieved in the last 12 months. We are grateful to all of our members for being a part of the IDI and helping us promote, advocate for, and advance, Irish Design.

IDI was happy to be awarded funding in a consortium project to network, engage and connect with businesses and support services throughout the regions of Ireland. Thanks to the Creative Communities Economic Action Fund launched by Creative Ireland, this new initiative provides local authorities with resources to develop innovative projects which seek to leverage the potential of the creative industries in supporting local and regional economic development. This was the start of the project, which was delivered throughout 2022. A full recap of the project will be published in January.
