The theme for 2025 is ‘Creative Courage’ and will focus on leadership, resilience and innovation. Influential speakers and panellists will explain how creative courage informs their work, their career decisions and how they lead themselves and inspire others. Looking behind the scenes and uncovering the real stories that drive projects and strategy we will explore how a courageous mindset is essential for all our futures.

In a world where uncertainty is the norm, being brave has never seemed more crucial. The Design Leaders Conference 2025, will focus on the theme of Creative Courage and the application of confidence and courage in design leadership and practice. We have selected speakers and panelists from a cross section of disciplines to explore how this essential mindset informs their work, their career choices and how they inspire others to push the boundaries wherever they lead.

Hear thought-provoking speakers Mike Schnaidt, author of ‘Creative Endurance’; Marc Català,  founding partner and creative director at branding agency Mucho; Jennie Stephens, Professor of Climate Justice at Maynooth University’s ICARUS Climate Research Centre; who will also be joined by Orlagh O'Reilly, Design Director Pepsi Global and Gerry Clarke, Co-Founder of Loci Orthopaedics.
