A huge congratulations to all of the winners of the 2022 IDI Awards, who came out in force to celebrate in The Marker Hotel on 17th November. With the welcome return of our MC and ‘recovering designer’ Paddy Cullivan, the night was a huge success and the air of celebration was palpable.
The IDI Awards are an important pillar of IDI’s remit as Ireland’s representative body for professional designers. Our goal is to represent designers at every stage of their career and to raise the professional standards of design. The Awards are the perfect opportunity to do just that, showcasing the best of the year’s design and providing inspiration for all.
The IDI 2022 Award winners exemplify the best of Irish design at the end of a challenging few years. Navigating site shut downs, remote working and a world in flux, designers proved once again that creativity prevails. From interiors and architecture through to digital and brand design, creativity has thrived for another year and the Awards demonstrated the resilience of Irish design businesses, proving that creativity will not be subdued in the face of adversity.
The coveted Grand Prix prize was awarded to Design Partners, who demonstrated consistent design excellence across all categories entered.
