IDI AWARDS 2023 WINNERS
Last week, the Institute of Designers in Ireland held the largest ever IDI Awards ceremony in the RDS, with nearly 400 people in attendance. A huge congratulations to all of the winners of the 2023 IDI Awards, who came out in force to celebrate in The RDS on 16th November, in particular the Grand Prix winner, MOLA Architecture. Judged by an international panel of leading industry lights, the standards of the IDI awards ensure Irish design is awarded to an international standard. A huge congratulations to all of the winners of the 2023 IDI Awards, who came out in force to celebrate in The RDS on 16th November. Judged by an international panel of leading industry lights, the standards of the IDI awards ensure Irish design is awarded to an international standard. This year again, designers' groundbreaking work pushed the boundaries of imagination leaving a long lasting impact on businesses, on people and on our planet and provided inspiration for all. It was an honour and pleasure to celebrate both seasoned and new designers who shape the very best in Ireland's commercial design landscape, with entertainment courtesy of our MC and ‘recovering designer’ Paddy Cullivan and the Gaffney family as Martin Gaffney received the first ever IDI President Prize from Mary Doherty.
The coveted Grand Prix prize was awarded to Dublin-based leading architectural studio MOLA Architecture, who demonstrated consistent design excellence across all categories entered. Their approach to their award-winning Grand Prix project Sustainable Meeting Pods in Cherrywood, Dublin represents design that delivers for users physically and emotionally, is sustainable, and brings a flair to the development. Congratulations again, MOLA!
The IDI 2023 Award winners exemplify the best of Irish design at the end of a challenging few years. Navigating a world in flux, economic and climate crisis, designers proved once again that creativity prevails. The awards provide designers with a platform to showcase their talents, benchmark against their peers and provide inspiration for all. The breadth of projects truly shows the impact of Irish design on business, culture and creativity.

We want to give one last shout-out to the IDI Awards 2023 judges who did an incredible job assessing all the entries this year and choosing our winners.
