The night was a huge success with almost 400 designers in attendance, celebrating the best of the best of Irish design. Hosted by our amazing MC for the evening Mary Doherty, we celebrated both seasoned and new designers whose projects set out to inspire and make lasting impact in both Ireland and internationally. This year featured intense competition, with some categories having exceptionally close scores, making the task particularly challenging for our international and local judges. 

This year’s coveted Grand Prix prize was awarded to Accenture the Dock for their impactful project ISSA - Intelligent Service Support Agent. The judges claimed this exciting project as a huge success with “huge potential given the multitude of both conflict and disaster zones… a very visually engaging interface and the immediacy of the information and content, it could have a huge impact”. Congratulations again to the team at Accenture the Dock!

This year demonstrates the breadth of design disciplines in Ireland and the truly global impact designers are making across the world. From transformative brand projects to AI-powered digital platforms for aid agencies, the effects of Irish design are being felt far beyond our shores. A huge congratulations to all of those who were commended and winners of the 2024 IDI Awards.
