WhyDesign International Women’s Day Event.

The IDI gender equality initiative, WhyDesign, is working to address the gender imbalance in the design industry across Ireland. Join us as we host an in person speaker event to celebrate International Women's Day on Thursday, 10th March at the Sugar Club Dublin.
We are excited to invite you, the Irish creative community to join us on the evening of March 10th to the Sugar Club Dublin.
Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
We have invited incredible speakers to bring this theme to life, including Brenda Romero of Romero Games (USA and IRL), Adam Murphy of Philips (NL) and Aoife Dooley (IRL).
We would love to see a 50:50 gender balance reflected in our audience. So women, please bring a man or men bring yourselves, you are all very welcome.
After a long period of separation, this is an excellent opportunity to bring the design community back together, embrace inclusion, and uplift the talents of Irish Designers.
So don't delay, get your tickets now and join us in this brilliant space with a 350-seater capacity. The venue will be half seated, half standing and seats will only be available on a first come first serve basis.
